Dana Miltins graduated from The Centre for the Performing Arts in Adelaide in 2001. Soon after she accepted a Helpmann Academy Scholarship to travel to New York where she undertook a masterclass at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting with famed teacher Earl Gister, performing roles from Anton Chekhov’s plays. She returned to the studio in 2004 to perform in All in the Timing, and as ‘Puck’ in A Midsummer Nights Dream.

More recently Dana has been passionately involved as an associate artist with the exciting new Australian theatre company THE RABBLE. In 2012 she played ‘Orlando’ in their critically lauded production of Orlando for The Melbourne Festival. The show received a commendation in the Age Critics Awards, and was named ‘Top Show 2012’ by Time Out. Theatre Blog Sometimes Melbourne Theatre Talk also named Dana’s performance as the best of 2012.

Also for THE RABBLE Dana has performed in Cageling, The Bedroom Project, Corvus, Salome In Cogito Vol.3 and The Story of O, which was a hit at MTC’s 2013 Neon Festival. Also for MTC Dana appeared in The Golden Dragon as ‘Young Chinese Man’, which was nominated for ‘Best Ensemble’ at the 2012 Green Room Awards.

Other theatre credits include: Manna for Sydney Theatre Company, and For a Better World for Griffin Independent.

Dana’s film and television credits include: The Pacific, Eliminated, The Secret Life of Us, Tripping Over, McLeod’s Daughters, Blue Heelers and award-winning short film Strange Tourist.
